In short: this website sets no cookies, uses no third-party tracking services and loads no third-party content. We count visits anonymously and without cookies on our own server. For fast loading times and protection against attacks, the website is delivered via the Cloudflare network. We only process personal data if you contact us via a form or by email – and only to handle your request.

As our offering is also aimed at businesses in the European Union, we comply with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). The data protection law of the United Arab Emirates (Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021) also applies to us.
2. Hosting, content delivery network and server log files
This website is hosted by MilesWeb Internet Services Pvt. Ltd., Nashik, Maharashtra, India (“MilesWeb”). With every visit, the web server processes technically necessary data: IP address, date and time, requested address, amount of data transferred, status code, referrer, browser and operating system. This data is required to deliver the website, ensure its stability and security and fend off attacks (legitimate interest, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Log files are stored by MilesWeb and deleted automatically after the period defined there. We do not combine this data with other data or use it for marketing. MilesWeb processes the data as a processor on our behalf.
Cloudflare: To make the website load fast worldwide and protect it against attacks (e.g. DDoS), we use the content delivery network of Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St., San Francisco, CA 94107, USA. All requests to the website pass through Cloudflare servers, usually in a data center near you, which cache content and deliver it to your browser. For this, Cloudflare processes technically necessary connection data such as IP address, requested address, date and time and browser information. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in a fast, secure and stable website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Cloudflare acts as a processor under a data processing agreement. More information: Cloudflare privacy policy.
For transfers to countries outside the EU, see section 8.
3. Demo requests and contact form
If you request a demo via the contact form, we process your name, company, email address and – optionally – phone number, area of interest and message. The details are sent to us by email and used solely to handle your request and arrange an appointment (pre-contractual measures, Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR, and our legitimate interest in answering business enquiries, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
To protect against spam, the form contains an invisible field and a timestamp. No additional personal data is collected in the process.
4. Machinery Regulation readiness check
The readiness check is evaluated entirely in your browser – your answers are not transmitted to us.
Only if you request the detailed report do you send us your name, company, email address and answers. We then send you the report by email and receive a copy of your answers so we can contact you about your results if needed. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time with effect for the future – an informal email to [email protected] is sufficient.
5. Savings calculator
The savings calculator runs entirely in your browser. Your input is neither stored nor transmitted to us. Only if you request a demo via its button are the calculated values pre-filled as a suggestion in the message field of the contact form; you can change or delete the text before sending.
6. Machinery Regulation checklist (PDF)
If you request the checklist, we process your name, company and email address. We send you the download link by email and may contact you about the Machinery Regulation and documentation. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time by email to [email protected].
7. Contact by email or phone
If you contact us by email or phone, we process the data you provide in order to handle your request (Art. 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR).
8. Transfers to third countries
We are based in the United Arab Emirates. There is no EU Commission adequacy decision for this country or for India (where MilesWeb is based). Cloudflare, Inc. is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, so transfers to the USA are covered by an EU Commission adequacy decision (Art. 45 GDPR); EU standard contractual clauses apply in addition. Depending on the data center booked, MilesWeb’s servers may also be located in other countries outside the EU. Where personal data is transferred there, this is based on EU standard contractual clauses (Art. 46(2)(c) GDPR) or – for requests you send to us – because the transfer is necessary for pre-contractual measures taken at your request (Art. 49(1)(b) GDPR).
9. Retention
We delete requests and check results once they are no longer needed for their purpose – at the latest two years after the last contact, unless a business relationship results and no statutory retention obligations apply. If you withdraw your consent, we delete the data concerned without undue delay.
10. Audience measurement without cookies
To understand which content is used, we count page views and individual actions (e.g. “check completed”, “demo requested”) with our own solution running on our web server. No cookies are set, nothing is stored on your device and no IP addresses are stored. To tell visitors apart, a shortened hash is created from IP address and browser identifier together with a random value that changes daily; the random value is deleted every day, so the hash can neither be traced back to you nor linked across days. We also store the page viewed, the referring domain, language and device category (smartphone, tablet, desktop). Nothing is shared with third parties. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in improving our website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). The data is deleted after 14 months.
11. No cookies, no third-party content
This website sets no cookies and stores no information on your device. Only if Cloudflare classifies a request as possibly automated or malicious and shows a security check may a strictly necessary security cookie be set. We use no third-party analytics, advertising or social media services. Fonts and all other content are loaded directly from our server; there is no connection to Google Fonts or other third parties (for delivery via Cloudflare see section 2). Links to external sites (e.g. LinkedIn, EUR-Lex) only transfer data to the respective provider once you click them.
12. Data security
Traffic between your browser and our server is encrypted with TLS (recognisable by “https://”). We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data against loss and unauthorised access.
13. Your rights
You have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and to object to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21). You can withdraw consent at any time (Art. 7(3)). Please contact [email protected].
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority – in particular in the EU member state of your habitual residence or place of work.
14. Changes
We update this privacy policy when the website or legal requirements change. The version published here applies.
